The AnglerNorth starter kit is ideal for anyone. From the beginner to the seasoned pro who wants an extra set of gear (for travel, maybe?). AnglerNorth have included everything you need to get started; all you need to do is add water.
 
The included reel is fabricated using an investment casting that is machined to precise tolerances. This frame and spool combination has a semi-matte surface finish which can reduce glare from the sun.
 
The center disc drag system with encased directional roller bearings allows for changing from left to right retrieve.  Please see Larry's article on Fly Reel Wind Direction to help you choose your wind direction.  AnglerNorth can send your order customized with the wind direction you require.
 
Choose the wrong wind direction? No problem, it's easy enough to switch yourself, or ship it back and we'll do it for you! The center quick release on the spool allows for easy change up from your floating line to a sinking line. Included is an extra spool so that you can take advantage of different lines for different waters (quickly)!
 
Our reel comes pre-rigged with 50 yards of 20# backing, a WF5F fly line, and a 4X tapered leader.
 
Also included are a locking forceps, a clipper, zinger, reel case and a fly box loaded with an assortment of flies that will get you catching fish quickly!
